Ken and Carol opened the storefront of Red Barn Farm downtown Creston in 2020, but had been growing seedlings from home since 2017.  They are passionate about everything from gardening to animals to homesteading, and it shows!  Together they strive to make a happy and welcoming atmosphere for all who come in.

Red Barn Farm is packed with everything and anything you could possibly need for your homestead and garden.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, just ask, Ken and Carol will try their best to bring it in for you.

Along with a large variety of garden seeds to choose from, this year they will have a greenhouse set up out back with seed starters.  These greenhouse kits will also be available to purchase.

Their business offers several different feed products, including locally milled feed for chickens.  These feeds are very fresh which is wonderful for the birds.  This year Carol is hoping to bring in chicks for those who are wanting to start raising their own chickens.

Red Barn Farm has a large selection of indoor and outdoor growing supplies, camping/hiking gear and supplies, bird seed, greenhouses, soils, micro-greens, and garden and yard beautification essentials!  A few Homestead supplies include chicken feeders/waterers, electric fencing, energizers, and gate kits.

Because of the demand and growth of the store, Red Barn Farm has plans of expanding, with hopes of being in their new larger location by June 2022!  They have been nominated for the Small Business BC Awards – Premiere’s People’s Choice 2022.

Ken and Carol are wonderful to deal with and have excellent communication and reply time on their social media platforms.  You can visit their Facebook page, Red Barn Farm, to see updated pictures of their products, gardening tips and tricks, and progress of the new store location.  You’ll also find current information and directly contact Ken and Carol on Instagram at
