Blog Post: 12 Days of Christmas 2024 – A Heartfelt Celebration of Community and Giving
As I reflect on this year’s 12 Days of Christmas campaign, my heart is filled with so much gratitude and joy. This was the fourth year I had the privilege of hosting this event, and it continues to grow in significance each year. The outpouring of support, kindness, and generosity we’ve seen from both businesses and community members has been truly overwhelming. It’s moments like these that remind me why I chose to live and work here in the Creston Valley, where we all come together to support one another.

The Generosity of the Creston Valley
One of the most touching parts of this campaign was reading through the countless heartfelt nominations that poured in. Each one was a beautiful reminder of the love, care, and thoughtfulness that runs deep in the Creston Valley. People nominated friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members who were going through tough times or had been working tirelessly, simply wanting to give them a little extra light during the holidays. The generosity and compassion shown by everyone involved were truly overwhelming, and it was an honor to read each message, filled with the spirit of giving. It’s a testament to the kindness that makes our little corner of the world so special.
An Unbelievable Level of Participation
This year, participation in the 12 Days of Christmas was higher than ever before! Across all of our social media channels, we saw an incredible number of people joining in, engaging with the campaign, and supporting our local businesses. It’s clear that the people of the Creston Valley have such a deep sense of community, and it was beautiful to witness. The excitement and enthusiasm were palpable, and it made each day of the giveaway feel extra special.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we close the chapter on 2024, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated—whether you nominated someone, shared the posts, or simply supported the businesses that made this campaign possible. This campaign wouldn’t be what it is without you.
Looking ahead to 2025, I am filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. The 12 Days of Christmas campaign is a reminder that together, we can make a difference. The kindness, generosity, and sense of belonging that this campaign fosters is something I look forward to every year, and I am already planning ways to make next year’s campaign even bigger and better.
